This week, our Regional Director and Support team gathered in sunny Melbourne for a dynamic two-day conference. We collaborated, shared insights, and reconnected as a team. Some highlights included an exciting team-building experience at the MCG, where we cheered on the mighty Hawks to a thrilling victory over the Tigers, and a fantastic dinner with our Melbourne team.As a supportive team spread across Australia and NZ, these gatherings are invaluable for strengthening our connections and driving continued success in our business!#team #parttimeCFO #melbourne #collaborationDavid King Craig Gemmill Laura Mills Rachel Boros Elechia Jones Shereen Dawson Rebecca Parnaby Gary Hill Richard Justice Craig Saphin Sue King Deanne Ord

Sign us up for the Ally Pally...Well not quite, but it was great to be a winner alongside Richard Stoddart at the Manchester darts championship. Of course I'm exaggerating. It was a healthy competition between friends and colleagues at the very new Black Cat Club (highly recommend) after a long day our Redmoor Health exec team had together in the city. I've known and worked with Richard for yonks and of course we made a great team 😁 We also play golf together, joined by Marc Schmid. In my case I use the term 'play golf' very loosely 😂 But why is it important to socialise with colleagues?😊 enhances teamwork, if we feel connected to our colleagues we're more cooperative and collaborative which can lead to us being more effective and efficient😎 it breaks down formal barriers and gives us a more relaxed environment to communicate more openly. 😊 it helps to build a network of supportive colleagues 🤔 it's an opportunity to share ideas and thoughts that might not be discussed in formal meetings or a business environment, helping us all to be more innovative😊 it can make the workplace more enjoyable, meaning we're more likely to feel engaged and positive about our role😊 you can make new friends for life - plenty of my ex-colleagues are full-time friendsA positive culture at an organisation is crucial. Many people spend more time with colleagues than anyone else, often under pressure and in stressful situations. We work hard at Redmoor for colleagues to feel included, supported and valued by each other and that's a key part of our recruitment too, choosing people that fit with our values and ethos, that want to be part of our journey. I don't think we'll be getting a call to join the world darts champion but a win's a win and we have the evidence, so me and Richard are taking it 🎉 #teamwork #darts #manchester #primarycare Matt Murphy Dan Hodges Kieran Waterston Helen Holmes-Fogg Lisa Drake Lisa Williamson Matt Sweeney

Building high-performance Recruitment Leadership teams in Technology Recruitment Agencies across North America 🚀

💡 What does high performance mean to you? 💡Morning LinkedIn, I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend as much as I did - watching my beloved Manchester City win their unprecedented 4th league title in a row was an unbelievable feeling. Watching us lift that trophy is a special feeling that gets better every time. And it got me thinking - how does this club maintain such high standards and strive for high performance every single year? You'd think after everything that went into winning the treble last season and the highs that came with it, there would be a drop in performance levels or intensity going into this season. But it doesn't happen. They enjoy the success, reset, and go again - continuously striving to be the very best version of themselves they can be. They optimize high performance in my opinion. And it comes from two big things for me. Consistency and Humility. Two core values that also serve top performing Consultants extremely well in the Recruitment industry. Both dangerous tools when paired together. Being consistent in your productivity, processes, and all the good things you do as a Recruiter will result in excellent numbers. But not getting carried away, or letting your ego get in the way once you reach them levels is what allows you to stay there. Remaining humble, recognizing there are always ways to improve your game will keep you consistent. That's what high performance means to me. What does high performance mean to you? *disclaimer - yes this was a shameless attempt posting about City winning the league (again) whilst trying to link it to Recruitment*It was our 4th in a row after all 😉Hope everyone has a good week, onto Wembley this weekend. 🌟 Teamwork (really does) Make the Dream Work! 🌟As I close my laptop on another great day of being a Franchisor with the WOW World Group, I can't help but reflect on the incredible power of teamwork. It's not just about achieving personal success, but also about being part of something bigger, something greater than ourselves.Imagine my evening yesterday: being able to switch off from the daytime role and immerse yourself in the world of football. Picture yourself at the iconic Manchester City football stadium, surrounded by the Mersey Medical Services Ltd team of dedicated individuals who share the same passion and drive to provide an outstanding service. But it doesn't stop there. In this scenario, you are not only a first responder, but also working as part of a multidisciplinary team, including the esteemed North West Ambulance Service. Your role is to ensure the safety and well-being of all the spectators and staff, creating an atmosphere where everyone can fully enjoy the game.So let's take a moment to appreciate the power of teamwork. When we come together, we can achieve remarkable things. Whether it's an induction of a new franchisee in the business world or ensuring the safety and enjoyment of football fans, the magic lies in the collective effort. And what a game! The atmosphere was electric with over 50,000 spectators.Remember, it's not just about the end result, but the journey we take together. #Teamwork #DreamWork #ManchesterCity #Football #NWAS #AmbulanceServices #Spectators #EnjoyTheGame

Manchester United and management!Being a Manchester United fan these days is tough. The world looks at you as a lost relic of a world that existed. The mantle piece that fell down and no matter how much “Kintsugi” repair you do, you are just a shadow of what was!But it's not just United. Workplaces and teams around us stop being the world beaters that they are. And maybe what's happening at United is a mirror reflection of how organisations or teams move towards their decline.⚽ Sir Alex was a coach unlike any the footballing world has seen. His ability to get the most out of any resource at hand is a contributing factor to where United is maybe. Home grown talent got replaced by extensive recruitment, and those coming in did not quite “Play the united way”. Add to it post his exit, a new coach, the mishmash of ideologies over time has ensured a steady decline.Much like organisation or a team where beyond a growth stage recruiting talent is preferred over promotions and you have dissent and disjoint strategies.💰 Glazers are more interested in valuation rather than management. To them United was a cash cow and not a team they were passionate about. Their budget was at the right place (at times) but their heart was not. Similar to how many an org has a North star contrarian to the genesis of their business. They believe in Growth at all costs one day and profit at the cost of growth the next, Talent hiring and retention come what may in one quarter and right sizing the next!⏱ Manchester United is a club mostly in disarray, and it breaks my heart. Losing sleep over their performances off late is a way of life for us unfortunate lot. There is hope still in Ten Hagg, but he needs to be given a longggggg rope to get to where he wants.🤲 Just like a lot of establishments, long term strategy has given way to knee jerk reactions! Their way forward to counter the current is to let a few drown rather than collectively swim against the tide.I hope that United finds its way out of this, and we have a club where “Glory Glory Man United” is not just us reminding ourselves of our past but an anthem that foretells the future. And I also hope the places we work at not just extol the virtues and greatness they showcase while hiring but come good on them for real!! #manchesterunited #management #learnings

⚽ "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥" - a panel discussion with Cliff Baty (𝘊𝘍𝘖 𝘢𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥), Susan Whelan (𝘊𝘌𝘖 𝘓𝘦𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘍𝘊) & David Courell (𝘊𝘖𝘖 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘈𝘐). ⚽ I attended this great talk last night hosted by the The Ireland Funds Great Britain. I'm not a football enthusiast so the insights shared on running a commercially successful football club were all new to me.𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒌𝒆𝒚 𝒎𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒈𝒆: It's imperative to build a global brand - a club won't survive on ticket sales. Or as SusanWhelan put it "you've got to be about more than football, because you can't win all the time"As a talent professional, the story of how each panellist navigated their careers to secure the fascinating positions they hold today was most striking. It wasn't a clear linear journey for anyone. But tellingly these opportunities proactively 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 off the back of great work and relationships they had built over multiple decades. 𝑴𝒚 𝒌𝒆𝒚 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚: Careers are a marathon. Take pride in the quality of your work, build super strong relationships and you never know what opportunities might present themselves in the future.#relationshipsmatter #careerbuilding #executivesearch #london

'Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome' - Arthur AsheThis is a clip of the night before the whatisman.co.za 12th Annual Conference that took place at Levelthree Premium Venue in #Kramerville 2 weeks ago. After all the #prayers, #planning, #meetings, pre-event #media #production, #coordination and #implementation; it was now time to pause, take a breath, take #stock of all that was accomplished and let go as #delegates were about to arrive and the event was about to start in a few hours. 3 things I learned over the last few months from the exceptional men that made this day possible:1. #Collaborate : Many of us are #excellent at what we do, but because we do it alone we limit our degree of reach and impact2. #Compliment : When working in a team, it's important for each member to clearly comprehend their #role + #responsibility as well as the #value it brings to the overall #team goal.3. #Complete : It's very important to finish what you start and remain #consistent in contributing to its success to the end.
